Mathias Kluger, also known as Lost in Soma is a DJ, sound alchemist, ritualist, and founder of the Ecstatic Cacao Ritual. Lost in Soma creates immersive heart-opening experiences that blend music, movement, breath, sound and cacao. After 15 years of DJ experience, Mathias Kluger moved to the global ecstatic dance and conscious festival scene. As an active DJ in the ecstatic dance scene, he has performed in parts of Asia, Portugal and Austria. He is currently a resident DJ at Shunya Ecstatic Dance in Arambol, one of India’s most renowned ecstatic venues.

Lost in Soma mixes tribal music with afro house, mantra and medicine music. This particular blend encourages listeners to lose themselves in euphoric, dance-driven soundscapes while experiencing personal transformation, emotional release, and self-expression. As he states “Dance becomes prayer. Music becomes medicine. Movement becomes liberation.” As an ecstatic dance DJ and spaceholder he guides people on deep journeys through rhythm and frequency.

What separates Lost in Soma with other DJs is the Ecstatic Cacao Ritual concept he created. The Ecstatic Cacao Ritual blends cacao, breathwork, movement practices, and carefully curated musical journeys, where the dance floor is transformed into a space for self-expression, emotional release, and community connection. At those rituals, alcohol and other substances are strictly forbidden since participants are encouraged to connect with themselves in a sober state to support Clarity and Presence.

Lost in Soma’s sets usually shift from deep meditative vibes to oriental melodies all the way to transcendental atmospheres, hypnotizing the listener to be captivated by the music and the atmosphere.
